Regular Servicing Reduces The Risk of Boiler Breakdown
Our annual boiler servicing, carried out by highly experienced Gas Safe Registered engineers, offers a range of benefits, making it a worthwhile investment.
Maintaining your boiler helps keep it running safely and efficiently, while reducing the risk of unexpected breakdowns and costly repairs. The key benefits of regular servicing include:
01
Safety & Protection
A malfunctioning boiler can release carbon monoxide, a highly dangerous gas that has no smell, colour, or taste. Routine inspections by a Gas Safe registered engineer can detect early warning signs such as leaks, corrosion, or poor combustion.
02
Reduced Energy Costs
As time passes, soot and debris can accumulate inside the boiler, making it less efficient and more fuel hungry. A professional service includes cleaning key components like the burner and heat exchanger, helping restore optimal performance.
03
Maintain Warranty Validity
Most boiler warranties can extend up to 10–12 years but require evidence of annual servicing. Missing a service could invalidate the warranty.
04
Avoid Expensive Breakdowns
Catching small problems early, such as minor leaks or worn parts, can stop them developing into major faults. Preventative maintenance is far more cost-effective than emergency repairs, particularly in colder months.

What To Expect During A Boiler Service
Boiler Inspection
Our engineers, competent to service any type, make or model of gas boiler, take a meticulous approach to a boiler service, following established procedures to ensure every service is carried out thoroughly and without shortcuts.
A typical boiler service usually lasts between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on factors such as the boiler’s age, condition, and how easy it is to access. If any faults are discovered or extra work is needed, the appointment may take longer.
After the service we provide certification to meet warranty commitments and general maintenance records.
We recommend that boilers benefit from a deep clean every five years. This “deep dive” into boiler maintenance costs more than a normal service but includes heat exchanger and burner cleaning, replacement safety gaskets and electrodes if required.
